Rainroam is a game made by Yauheni Draitsau (“we”). This policy covers the Rainroam app for iPhone and iPad and the web version at rainroam.pages.dev.

In short: there are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Your progress stays on your device. The only information that leaves it is what the App Store and our purchase provider need to sell and restore the one-time “Full Game” purchase in the iPhone and iPad app.

What stays on your device

Saved games, settings and language are stored only on your device (in the app’s own storage, or in your browser’s storage on the web). We never receive them. Deleting the app, or clearing the site’s data in your browser, removes them.

The Full Game purchase (iPhone and iPad)

Payments are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details or your Apple Account.

To confirm, deliver and restore the purchase we use RevenueCat, a service that checks App Store purchases. When the app starts, and when you buy, restore or redeem a code, RevenueCat receives:

• a random, anonymous identifier created by the app on your device (not your name, email or Apple Account);
• your App Store transactions for Rainroam (which product, when, price, currency and store country);
• basic technical details that come with any connection, such as device model, system and app version, and IP address.

This is used only to provide your purchase and to show us overall sales figures. It is not used for advertising or tracking and is never sold. RevenueCat’s own policy: revenuecat.com/privacy. Apple’s policy: apple.com/legal/privacy.

The website

The web version is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request data (such as your IP address) to deliver and protect the site. The game itself sets no cookies and runs no analytics; it uses your browser’s local storage only to keep your saves and settings, which the game needs to work.

Children

Rainroam asks for no personal information, and we do not knowingly collect any from children or anyone else.

Your rights

We keep no account or profile about you, so there is usually nothing to access or delete. If you would like the purchase records linked to your app’s anonymous identifier removed, or have any question about your data, write to us and we will help. You may also contact your data protection authority; in Sweden that is Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY).

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
